Photo memories from Chantilly, France, 1942

old photos to digitize

These snapshots have been in storage for over 75 years. Now, they will be scanned by us, enjoyed by a family and shared with the world.

Chantilly Cream and Chantilly Lace have been around for centuries.  But, sometime before the American Army liberated the town of Chantilly, France in 1944, these photos were captured showing a relaxed group of soldiers.  The photos were submitted to us by a local Boca Raton family.

The photographs are labeled, “Chantilly, France, 1942” and have now been entrusted to our photo scanning experts who will be liberating these precious memories from the darkness of media obsolescence.

For as little as 25¢, an old photo can bring back an old memory, teach a young person about a certain time in history or simply share joy with a curious mind.
